Gurugram-based spiritual wellness platform InstaAstro has raised $12 million, or around ₹114.5 crore, in a Series A round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund. The fresh capital will support product development, regional and international expansion, and the company’s growing pooja seva and spiritual commerce businesses.

A key part of the investment will go towards AI-led features. InstaAstro plans to introduce sentiment analysis to help experts understand users’ conversations better and provide more contextual consultations. It is also expanding multilingual capabilities as it looks to reach users across different regions and languages.

Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro began as an online astrology consultation platform and has gradually widened its offering to include tarot, numerology, vastu, pooja seva, astrology courses and spiritual products. The company claims to have 12 million registered users and more than 5,000 verified experts serving users across 183 countries. International markets, largely driven by the Indian diaspora, now contribute around 25% of revenue.

The company has also seen strong financial growth. Operating revenue more than doubled to ₹111.26 crore in FY26 from ₹52 crore in FY25, while its annualised revenue has now crossed ₹200 crore. InstaAstro says its user base has grown nearly 400% over the past two years, as spiritual and religious services increasingly move online.

The latest funding comes as India’s broader spiritual-tech and faith-commerce market attracts growing investor attention. For InstaAstro, the opportunity now goes beyond online astrology consultations. By combining AI, regional-language access, rituals and commerce on one platform, the startup is attempting to build a wider digital ecosystem around how users engage with spiritual services.
