Clean-tech startup Zenergize has raised $4 million, or nearly ₹38 crore, in a pre-Series A round led by Giraffe Studios. The round also saw participation from Nikhil Sawhney, Varun Agarwal, Shyam Bagri, Raoul Bajaj and several angel investors and existing backers.
The fresh capital will be used to increase manufacturing capacity, strengthen research and development, and expand Zenergize’s sales and servicing teams across India. Founded in March 2025 by IIT Bombay alumni Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, the startup manufactures AC and DC EV chargers along with solar inverters at its facility in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh.
Zenergize currently produces around 2,000 solar inverters and 30–40 EV chargers every month. The company plans to double capacity at its existing Parwanoo unit while setting up another facility in Delhi NCR. Together, the two plants are expected to eventually support production of roughly 8,000–10,000 inverters and 70–100 DC chargers per month, alongside AC chargers.
The startup is also developing hybrid inverters as it widens its clean-energy product portfolio. Zenergize says its products are largely designed and manufactured in India, including printed circuit boards and its core power converter module, while semiconductors remain the major component sourced internationally.
On the business side, Zenergize claims to be operating at an annual revenue run rate of ₹35–40 crore and is targeting ₹80–90 crore by the end of 2026. The fundraise comes as India continues to expand its EV charging infrastructure, creating greater demand for locally manufactured chargers. For Zenergize, the next phase will be about turning increased production capacity into a larger and more reliable domestic charging and clean-energy hardware business.
