Digital-first fashion and lifestyle brand Theater has raised ₹56.25 crore, or around $6 million, in
a Series A round led by Niveshaay. FirstPort Capital, Skagen Ventures and several other
investors also participated as the five-year-old company looks to build on strong growth across
its fashion and lifestyle portfolio.
Niveshaay invested ₹37 crore in the round, while FirstPort Capital contributed ₹12.81 crore and
Skagen Ventures put in ₹3.36 crore. Saket Agarwal, Vishal Julka and IPV International also
participated. Theater had previously raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Prath
Ventures in September 2024.
The fresh financing also brings a sharp valuation jump. Entrackr estimates Theater’s post-
money valuation at around ₹402 crore, or $43 million, compared with roughly ₹90 crore
previously — an increase of around 4.5X. The company plans to use the capital for business
expansion, working capital requirements, balance-sheet strengthening and future growth
initiatives.
Founded by Sarthak Aggarwal, Karan Jain, Vikram Jain and Shruti Agarwal, Theater operates
as a digital-first fashion and lifestyle brand with products spanning footwear, bags, stockings,
socks, perfumes and other accessories for men and women. Following the latest round, Eternal
Emerging Enterprises Fund remains its largest institutional shareholder with a 9.71% stake,
followed by Niveshaay at 9.20%.
The higher valuation comes after Theater’s operating revenue grew 2.37X to ₹33.35 crore in
FY25. The company has yet to file its FY26 results, making those numbers important for
assessing whether the momentum continued. For Theater, the new round gives it significantly
more capital to scale, but its next test will be converting rapid early growth and a much higher
valuation into a larger, more durable consumer brand.
