AI-powered credit management startup Oolka is heading back to the fundraising market just six months after its previous round, and this time the discussions could more than double its valuation.
The startup is in advanced talks to raise around $45 million, or roughly ₹430 crore, from Bessemer Venture Partners, Prosus and existing backers. Bessemer is expected to lead with about $20 million, while Prosus could invest another $10 million. The remaining $15 million is likely to come from investors including Accel, Lightspeed and 8i Ventures, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
If completed on the terms currently being discussed, the round would value Oolka at around $200 million, or nearly ₹1,900 crore. That is more than twice the roughly $90 million valuation it commanded in April 2026. The deal has not yet been formally announced, and Oolka, Bessemer and Prosus did not respond to Moneycontrol’s queries.
Founded in 2024 by former Meesho chief experience officer Utkrishta Kumar, Oolka describes itself as an agentic AI credit management platform. Its product is designed to help consumers understand and improve their credit scores while managing loans and EMIs. Before the proposed round, the startup had raised about $21 million, according to Tracxn data cited in the report.
The talks also arrive during a particularly active period for Indian fintech funding. Prosus has recently been exploring multiple consumer-fintech investments and announced a $100 million investment in Navi in August. Moneycontrol has reported at least eight fintech deals taking shape within roughly 45 days across lending, payments, savings, wealth and insurance.
For Oolka, the standout number is not only the potential $45 million cheque. A valuation moving from around $90 million to $200 million within six months would show how quickly investor attention is building around startups combining consumer finance with AI-led products — provided the negotiations translate into a completed deal.
