Bengaluru-based voice AI startup Ringg has raised $10 million in an extended Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B. The fresh capital takes the total size of its Series A to $15.5 million, following a $5.5 million raise earlier this year.
Ringg plans to use the funding to strengthen its AI platform, expand its voice, WhatsApp and browser-based agents, and invest further in proprietary AI models and its context graph. The company is also looking to accelerate enterprise go-to-market efforts across India and international markets as demand for automated customer interactions continues to grow.
Founded by Siddharth Tripathi, Utkarsh Shukla and Kali Charan Vemuru, Ringg initially operated as a text-to-speech startup called DesiVocal before shifting towards enterprise voice AI. Today, its agents are used by businesses for outbound calls, lead qualification, loan collections and other customer-facing workflows.
The startup currently processes around 20 million call attempts every month and works with companies including Flipkart, Practo, Groww, Supernova, Goodscore and PolicyBazaar. It is also moving into more complex use cases such as healthcare appointment booking, ecommerce cart recovery, fintech onboarding and KYC. At Practo alone, Ringg’s voice agents are deployed across around 1,200 clinics.
Voice calls still contribute more than 70% of Ringg’s business, but the company’s larger ambition is to build a broader AI agent platform that can complete business tasks across multiple channels. The latest funding gives Ringg more room to move beyond automated calling and position itself as an enterprise AI infrastructure layer for conversations, workflows and customer operations.
