Cashback has traditionally been something shoppers notice during a sale. Hyyzo wants it to become part of the purchase decision itself. The online rewards platform has crossed ₹100 crore in gross merchandise value across more than 200 partner brands as it pushes cashback beyond festive promotions and into routine online spending.

Founded in 2022, Hyyzo works with platforms including Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio and Nykaa. Users begin their purchase through Hyyzo, shop on the partner platform and receive a portion of the affiliate commission back as cashback after the transaction is confirmed. The company says it recorded more than 1.5 lakh orders in just the first two weeks of October.

The smaller transactions may be just as important as the festive spikes. Hyyzo said more than a third of September orders were valued below ₹500, with beauty and grooming among the strongest categories. During the first half of October, fashion orders nearly tripled compared with September, footwear grew almost fourfold and mobile and laptop purchases increased more than sixfold, according to company data.

Hyyzo is also trying to stretch the model beyond cashback on a user’s own shopping. Its **Profit Link** feature lets shoppers convert eligible product links into trackable links and earn when friends or family purchase through them. A separate referral programme rewards users for bringing new shoppers onto the platform. In effect, Hyyzo is attempting to combine cashback, affiliate commerce and everyday recommendations in one consumer product.

The company now wants to expand further into Tier 2 cities and smaller towns. Over the next 18 months, it is targeting 20 million active users and more than ₹1,000 crore in GMV across partner stores. Those remain company targets, not achieved milestones.

Hyyzo’s larger bet is that online shoppers will eventually ask a new question before checkout: not just *how much does this cost?* — but *how much can I earn back from buying it?*
