Alienkind has raised $3.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round to expand its footprint across India as the Gen Z-focused cafe brand accelerates growth and prepares for its next phase.

Building a food brand today is no longer just about serving great products it's about creating experiences people want to return to. That's the philosophy driving Alienkind, a fast-growing cafe brand that has now secured $3.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round to accelerate its expansion across India.

The fresh capital will be used to enter new markets, strengthen operations, and scale the company's footprint as it continues building spaces designed for a younger, experience-driven audience. The company is also preparing for a larger Series A fundraising round in the coming months as it looks to sustain its growth momentum.

Founded by Vikram Kakkireni and Abhishek Kumar, Alienkind has positioned itself as more than a conventional cafe chain. The brand combines food, design, community, and culture to create destinations that resonate with Gen Z consumers who increasingly seek social experiences alongside quality products.

The funding round saw participation from existing investors, including entrepreneur Prakash Sikaria, Ravi Iyer, and Arpan Sheth, reflecting continued confidence in the company's vision and execution.

Despite being a relatively young company, Alienkind has expanded rapidly and is targeting an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $10 million by the end of FY27. Looking further ahead, the startup plans to build 100 outlets across India's leading cities by FY28, underlining its ambition to become one of the country's most recognisable next-generation cafe brands.

As India's food and beverage landscape continues to evolve, brands that successfully blend community, lifestyle, and technology are finding strong traction with younger consumers. Alienkind's latest fundraise reflects growing investor confidence in this shift and provides the company with the resources to scale its presence while continuing to build a brand that connects with the next generation of customers.
