Furniture startup Furnishka is raising ₹26.8 crore in an extended pre-Series A round, with PhysicsWallah founders Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob, Udaan cofounder Sujeet Kumar and a mix of institutional and angel investors participating. Regulatory filings reviewed by Entrackr show the Bengaluru-based company has issued 3,183 preference shares to raise the fresh capital.
Bhaarath Sang is the largest investor in the round with ₹10.3 crore, followed by Beenext Asia with ₹3.35 crore. Onyx InVen and Amit Jain are investing ₹2.37 crore each, while Mohit Gupta and Jnabiz Consulting are putting in around ₹2 crore apiece. Sujeet Kumar is investing roughly ₹1 crore, while Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob are contributing ₹1.14 crore each.
Based on the issue price and Furnishka’s share capital, Entrackr estimates the company’s post- money valuation at around ₹230 crore. The publication said the transaction appears to form part of a larger round, with most of the capital already received and the remaining amount expected to follow.
The latest financing takes Furnishka’s total funding to about ₹70 crore. The startup had previously raised ₹27 crore in a pre-Series A round led by IndiaQuotient in October 2024, with Sparrow Capital and angels including Sujeet Kumar also participating.
Founded in 2023 by Ganesh Pawar, Furnishka operates an omnichannel furniture business
combining online sales with large-format physical stores. Its catalogue spans living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, with customisation and supply-chain efficiency central to the model.
The fresh capital gives Furnishka more room to scale that omnichannel playbook. The bigger test will be whether it can expand physical retail and product variety while keeping inventory, fulfilment and customisation efficient in a category where logistics and working capital can quickly become expensive.
