DPIIT MoUs Expand Startup Support Through Digital And Investment Access

DPIIT signed five Memoranda of Understanding with Cashfree Payments, Darwin Dynamics, Vultr India, Cars24 Services and the Council for Startup India on August 8, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry release carried by ANI.

The agreements cover digital payments, cloud infrastructure, entrepreneurship support, mobility technology, investment readiness and international market access for DPIIT-recognised startups.

The Cashfree partnership will provide eligible startups with payment and payout solutions, identity verification and risk-management services, along with preferential onboarding and commercial benefits. It will also include workshops, mentoring, AI buildathons and hackathons focused on payments, compliance, fraud prevention, KYC and cross-border transactions.

Vultr India will provide cloud credits, preferential pricing and technical support, alongside training covering cloud computing, storage, databases, Kubernetes, networking and application deployment.

Darwin Dynamics will focus on entrepreneurship in Tier II, Tier III and rural regions through mentorship, institutional networks and market opportunities. The partnership also covers clean energy, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, climate technology and advanced manufacturing.

Cars24 Services will support mobility and automotive technology startups through founder mentorship, skilling, AI technology enablement, innovation challenges and hackathons. The partnership will also facilitate investment evaluation and ecosystem engagement.

The Council for Startup India will work on investment readiness, corporate engagement, CFO matchmaking, global market access and international innovation collaborations, while supporting governance, financial readiness, compliance and international expansion.
