Bio-Gene Technology Limited has applied for quotation of 34.76 million fully paid ordinary shares on the Australian Securities Exchange at A$0.025 each, completing the second tranche of a previously announced placement.

The application relates to shares issued on August 10, 2026, according to information published by Kalkine Media. Bio-Gene had previously disclosed that the second tranche of its placement was conditional on shareholder approval.

Bio-Gene is already listed on the ASX under the ticker BGT, so the latest filing concerns the quotation of additional securities rather than a new stock-market listing. The company maintains an ASX announcements section for its market disclosures.

The placement was announced in May and later expanded to A$2.775 million after Bio-Gene received an additional A$65,000 in commitments from sophisticated investors. The company said the placement price was A$0.025 per share.

Under the placement structure, Bio-Gene planned to issue 76.24 million shares in the first tranche under its available placement capacity and about 34.76 million shares in the second tranche, subject to shareholder approval. The placement also provided for free attaching unlisted options, subject to the relevant approval.

Bio-Gene develops insecticide technologies for applications including crop protection, grain storage and public health. Its product portfolio includes Flavocide and Qcide, with the company continuing regulatory and commercial development activities.

The company is due to report its annual results on August 25, according to market data tracked by Market Index. The latest share quotation application therefore comes ahead of that scheduled reporting date.
