From AI-powered wealth management to digital lending and banking infrastructure, these five Indian fintech startups are solving real financial challenges and are worth keeping an eye on.
While industry giants grabbed headlines this month with billion-dollar funding rounds, IPO plans, and leadership reshuffles, another story quietly unfolded in India's fintech ecosystem. A new generation of startups is tackling everyday financial challenges with fresh ideas, smarter technology, and customer-first solutions.
Here are five fintech startups that stood out in June for their innovation and growth potential.
Blostem is simplifying how fintech platforms offer fixed deposits and related banking products. Instead of requiring multiple integrations with individual banks, the Delhi-based startup provides a single API that connects businesses to a network of 10 banks and NBFCs. Founded in 2021, Blostem already works with platforms including MobiKwik, Jupiter Money, Upstox, Aditya Birla Capital Digital and GoldenPi.
Finanjo, founded in Jaipur in 2025, is bringing behavioural finance into personal money management. Its AI assistant, Jo, analyses users' spending, savings and investments to deliver personalised financial guidance. Since launching its beta version, the platform has onboarded over 5,000 users, with around 500 daily active users and more than ₹25 crore in connected savings.
Mumbai-based Finfinity is trying to make borrowing more transparent by allowing users to compare loan offers across multiple lenders in real time. Founded in 2023, the platform partners with institutions including YES Bank, IDFC First Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Muthoot Finance and InCred, helping borrowers make more informed lending decisions.
Another startup gaining attention is Otto Money, an AI-powered wealth guidance platform launched in 2025. Rather than selling investment products, it focuses on providing unbiased portfolio insights, risk analysis and long-term financial planning for retail investors.
Completing the list is FatakPay, which is focused on improving financial access for underserved borrowers. The Mumbai-based fintech offers instant collateral-free personal loans of up to ₹5 lakh, AI-driven underwriting, free CIBIL monitoring and micro-investment features. The company says it has already disbursed over ₹2,500 crore, served more than 2 crore users, and recently introduced FatakUdaan to help first-time borrowers build stronger credit profiles.
As India's fintech market continues to mature, these startups demonstrate that the next wave of innovation isn't just about building bigger financial products it's about making financial services simpler, smarter and more accessible for millions of users.
