OTPless is bringing a familiar engineering leader into its top team. The identity and access management startup has appointed former BharatPe executive Geetanshu Singla as chief technology officer, filling a role that had been vacant for nearly ten months.

Singla previously served as head of engineering at BharatPe, where he worked closely with OTPless cofounders Satyam Nathani and Tanmay Sagar. His appointment effectively reunites a group that has already built and scaled technology together, with Singla describing the move as feeling more like “coming back home” than joining a new company.

After leaving BharatPe in 2023, Singla cofounded GenWise, a lifestyle platform for senior citizens, alongside fellow BharatPe alumni Nehul Malhotra and Rajat Jain. The startup raised a $3.5 million seed round before shutting down in December 2025. Singla then spent around a year in an engineering leadership role at Singapore-based wealthtech company Syfe.

His arrival comes during a wider leadership reshuffle at OTPless. Last month, Bhavik Koladiya stepped down as CEO, with Nathani taking over the role and Sagar becoming COO. Manas Poddar was also recently elevated to chief business officer.

Founded in 2021, OTPless helps consumer internet companies reduce their dependence on traditional OTPs, PINs and passwords through products spanning silent network authentication, WhatsApp authentication, passkeys and device intelligence. The startup says it has authenticated more than 30 crore mobile users and works with companies including Meesho, Navi, PhysicsWallah, ShareChat, Shiprocket and Zepto.

OTPless also claims ₹36 crore in annualised revenue and profitability over the past two quarters. With Singla now taking charge of the technology function, the company is pairing its next phase of growth with an engineering leader already familiar with much of its founding team.
