PowerUp Money started by helping investors understand their mutual fund portfolios. Now founder Prateek Jindal, previously a cofounder of Uni Cards, wants to turn that advisory layer into something much broader — a digital wealth manager that can follow an investor across different assets, goals and stages of life.
The Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup has raised $10 million in fresh funding, led by Flourish Ventures, with existing investors Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures and DeVC also participating. The round reportedly values PowerUp Money at around $73 million.
A significant portion of the capital will go toward building its AI-powered wealth management platform. PowerUp recently launched Elite Prime, which uses an investor’s goals, risk profile and existing portfolio to generate asset-allocation, SIP, lump-sum, rebalancing and withdrawal plans.
The company says an AI wealth coach and personal assistant will sit at the centre of that experience.
The startup now operates across three levels of support. Elite is its paid mutual fund advisory product and has crossed 1 lakh paid members. Elite Prime adds more personalised digital planning, while Infinite provides managed wealth services with human advisory support. Infinite has reached nearly ₹500 crore in assets under management within roughly nine months, according to the company.
PowerUp says more than 15 lakh customers currently track mutual fund portfolios worth over ₹2.5 lakh crore on its platform. When it raised $7.1 million in June 2025, that figure stood at a little over 25,000 users and around ₹3,000 crore in tracked assets.
The company now plans to move beyond mutual funds into categories including stocks, ETFs, PMS products and alternative investment funds, subject to the regulatory requirements around each offering.
PowerUp’s bigger bet is that access to investing has already been democratised. The next opportunity is helping people manage increasingly complex portfolios without needing a traditional private-wealth relationship for every decision.
