Wealth management startup Nexedge Capital has raised $20 million in its maiden funding round, led by Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Elev8 Venture Partners. The New Delhi-based company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its senior banker network and deepen its presence across India.

A major part of Nexedge’s expansion strategy will focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities, where demand for structured wealth management is growing beyond India’s traditional financial hubs. The company also plans to build a dedicated offering for non-resident Indians and launch an NBFC business as it broadens its financial services portfolio.

Founded in February 2025 by Anirudha Taparia, Nexedge provides wealth management and multi-family office services across investments, portfolio management, estate planning, business expansion and global mobility. Unlike traditional advisory models that focus largely on investible assets, Nexedge says its approach is built around managing a family’s overall net worth.

The company caters to high net worth individuals, ultra-high net worth individuals, families and corporates. Within around 18 months of operations, Nexedge claims to have crossed $3 billion in assets under management across nearly 1,300 clients. It has also brought more than 95 senior bankers onto its platform and expects another 50 to 60 to join during 2026.

The fundraise comes amid rising investor interest in India’s wealthtech sector, where startups are building new platforms for affluent and emerging wealthy customers. For Nexedge, the next challenge will be turning its early scale into a broader national network while maintaining the personalised advisory model that sits at the centre of high-value wealth management.
